As Assistant Dean and Director of Scholarly Communications, my work focuses on Gettysburg College’s open access institutional repository, open access publishing, and open education. I am passionate about Open Educational Resources (OER) as an effective and equity-minded pedagogical choice that can support student success and invigorate teaching. I am also involved in the design and implementation of library programs and learning series which support the curriculum, expand understanding of diversity and inclusion, encourage critical thinking, and enliven the imagination.

About Janelle Wertzberger

As Assistant Dean and Director of Scholarly Communications, my work focuses on Gettysburg College’s open access institutional repository, open access publishing, and open education. I am passionate about Open Educational Resources (OER) as an effective and equity-minded pedagogical choice that can support student success and invigorate teaching.
