James W. (“JW”) Harrington, Jr. has been a Professor at UW Tacoma since 2011. He has been a Professor at the University of Washington overall since 1997, first serving on the Seattle campus.
Harrington’s academic specialization is in economic geography; he is a Professor in Interdisciplinary Arts & Sciences and in Urban Studies at UW Tacoma and a Professor in Geography at UW Seattle.
