About Dr Jacqueline Cheng

Dr Cheng joined ACER in August 2017 as a Research Fellow in the Education & Development team. Her main role is the project co-ordinator for the Southeast Asian Primary Learning Metrics (SEA-PLM) program to provide in-country and remote technical support to each participating country. In addition, Jacqueline conducts quantitative data analysis and interpretation for education projects in the Pacific region.
 
Prior to joining ACER, Dr Cheng worked with Pearson and i-graduate as a senior researcher, focusing on student experience and engagement in higher education, as well as measuring graduate outcomes. Her PhD examined the validity and reliability of using student satisfaction scores as a ranking tool in UK universities. Jacqueline is also interested in sport and exercise psychology, having completed an MSc and lectured in the field for two years.
