About Iswanto Sucandy, MD, FACS

Dr. Sucandy was born and raised in South Celebes, Indonesia. After completing one of the most prestigious and oldest medical school in Indonesia, he moved to the United States where his decade-long surgical education started as a research scholar at the Cleveland Clinic.
Dr. Sucandy then completed his residency in General Surgery at Jefferson Health-Abington Hospital in Philadelphia where he served as the Academic Chief Resident and was also a recipient of the Rosenfeld Scholarship for his academic and clinical excellence.
