About Hossein Khosrowjah

Hossein Khosrowjah is a visiting scholar at California College of the Arts´ Department of Visual Studies. He has previously taught various film studies, literature and social science courses at University of Rochester, SUNY Brockport, Saint John Fisher College, and San Francisco State University. In December 2010, Hossein defended his dissertation titled "Unthinking the National Imaginary: The Singular Cinema of Abbas Kiarostami" at the University of Rochester's Program in Visual and Cultural Studies. He is currently working on a book on Iranian cinema.
