I am a broad-based organismal biologist whose primary research interests are in insect taxonomy, aquatic entomology, and arthropod biodiversity. I have published more than 70 peer-reviewed publications, most representing either systematic revisions of major taxa or regional studies of faunal biodiversity. My pedagogical activities encompass development and instruction of several courses, including Aquatic Insects, Systematic Entomology, Advanced Systematics, and various field- and special-topics courses.
