Dr. Hassold has used Monte Carlo simulation to model the time evolution of microstructure in materials.
Dr. Hassold teaches core physics classes, both at the introductory and advanced levels. He uses a variety of
techniques (just in time teaching, peer instruction, exploration with applets) to encourage student learning
through active participation.
