About Geri Forsberg

A specialist in media ecology and media and religion, her writings look at the ways media, technology, and language effect our thinking, values, beliefs, and behavior. She is currently working on developing media literacy theory.  Her recent writings include work on the French sociologist, philosopher, and lay theologian--Jacques Ellul.  Her publications include a dissertation which later became a book--Critical Thinking in an Image World: Alfred Korzybski's Theoretical Principles Extended to Critical Television Evaluation. She has published numerous book chapters and scholarly articles and reviews. She teaches courses in technical and professional writing, literacy studies, technoethics, and media ecology.
