About Geraldine Budd

Geraldine Budd PhD, RN, CRNP, FAANP is Clinical Associate Professor in the Doctor of Nursing Practice and Family Nurse Practitioner programs at Sacred Heart University. Professor Budd's research interests include nurse practitioner scope of practice, DNP project utilization and family based behavior change for obesity. She has received several grants for her work on adolescent obesity and weight loss. Geraldine is a certified family nurse practitioner with over twenty years experience.
