About G. Theodore Talbot

Dr. Talbot is an Assistant Professor and the Residency Program Director in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. Dr. Talbot also serves as the Medical Director for the Center for Women’s Health at Five Rivers Health Centers.

Dr. Talbot has been a fulltime faculty member at Wright State University since 2012. His research interests include infant mortality, barriers to prenatal care, surgical site infection after cesarean delivery, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, and general obstetrics and gynecology.

Dr. Talbot serves as advisor and mentor for resident and medical student research projects including, barriers to prenatal care, resilience, and infant mortality. He has served as the Principal Investigator on industry sponsored clinical trials for endometriosis and fibroids. He has served as a Sub-Investigator on industry sponsored clinical trials for preterm labor, fibroids, endometriosis, and female sterilization.
