About Frederick A. Baker

I received my B.S. Degree in Plant Pathology from Colorado State University in 1977 and my Ph.D. in Plant Pathology from the University of Minnesota at Minneapolis in 1981. I was on the faculty of Utah State University from 1984 through 2013. My primary research interest was understanding the impacts of forest diseases, especially dwarf mistletoes. I also worked to develop survey techniques and impact projection tools for dwarf mistletoes and root diseases and the impact of forest diseases.
