About Emily Asch, MLIS

Emily Asch, MLIS joined St. Catherine University in 2008 as the Head of Technical Services. In 2014 she became the Director of Libraries and Archives. Her vision for the library is to be a space supporting and providing for interdisciplinary dialogue through our resources, physical space, virtual presence, services, and staff. Student success is the primary focus of our work in the library, through research support, providing resources and tools in person and online, as well as services and teaching. Emily has been in academic libraries for 22 years and has a strong collections and systems background, but has had the privilege of supporting all parts of an academic library and is passionate about students and faculty succeeding in all academic and scholarly endeavors.
