About Ellen M. Martino

  • Ellen M. Martino, OTD, OTR/L is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Occupational Therapy Department of the College of Health Professions at Sacred Heart University. She began as a visiting professor in August 2018. Her professional interests include Early Intervention, Preschool, Kindergarten readiness, Sensory processing disorders, Family-centered intervention, and Transitional services for special education students. She has additional certification in Neurodevelopmental Treatment in Pediatrics. Doctoral Capstone Project – Providing collaborative, inclusive occupational therapy intervention to help preschoolers improve kindergarten readiness skills.
