About Elizabeth Stephan

I am a research and instruction librarian with a specialization in business research at Western Washington University. In addition to being a business librarian, I am the Student Engagement Librarian. I work with other partners on campus to first and second year students, with an emphasis on students from underrepresented populations.
Libraries serve multiple purposes on a university campus and are integral to the success of our student and faculty. Libraries provide access to research materials in a variety of formats and delivery: print, electronic, etc. In addition to housing materials, libraries are a place for university community to gather. Libraries are where faculty, staff, and students come together to discuss and explore ideas and concepts.
