About Eli Moore

Dr. Moore is an organic geochemist, who studies the interactions between biosphere and geosphere. Recent research interests include the impact of metal availability on the evolution of microbial metabolism, discovering new membrane lipid structures to understand how bacteria respond to environmental change, and tracking the proteins of dead phytoplankton in the ocean to investigate their importance in the global carbon and nitrogen cycles.
