About Douglas K. Ludlow

Dr. Douglas K. Ludlow is a Professor in the department of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering at Missouri S&T and the Director of the Freshman Engineering Program. He received his B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from Brigham Young University and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Arizona State University.

Dr. Ludlow has been an engineering educator since 1986 and has been associated with two universities. He was at the University of North Dakota from 1986 to 1996 with his final position being Department Chair of Chemical Engineering. He has been at Missouri University of Science & Technology (formerly University of Missouri-Rolla) as a Professor of Chemical Engineering since 1996. He has served twice as the Department Chair of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering. Dr. Ludlow has served as the Director of the Freshman Engineering Program since June 2013.
