About Desiree Davis

Desiree Davis, PhD, MSW, LMSW, LCSW, ACSW, is an Associate Professor of Social Work.  She received her BSW degree from Oakwood College, her MSW degree from The Ohio State University, and a PhD degree in Educational Psychology from Andews University.  Dr. Davis has worked in a number of social work arenas, such as, medical social work, mental health, and private practice.  Currently, Dr. Davis is on faculty in the School of Social Work and serves as the BSW Program Director in the School of Social Work.  She has taught in the BSW program at Saint Mary's College in Notre Dame, Indiana, and later in the MSW program at Indiana University School of Social Work in South Bend, Indiana. Dr. Davis has presented at social work conferences and church conferences.  Presently, Dr. Davis research interests include coping strategies, domestic violence, and women's issues.
