About Dawn Bratsch-Prince

Dawn Bratsch-Prince is Associate Provost for Faculty and professor of Spanish at Iowa State University. In her role as associate provost, Bratsch-Prince provides leadership in recruiting, advancing, and retaining an excellent and diverse faculty and staff.  Among her responsibilities are promotion and tenure, faculty development, orientation and mentoring programs, university awards, and training for department chairs.  Bratsch-Prince oversees issues related to faculty personnel, developing policies and initiatives that further Iowa State’s strategic goal of  nurturing a diversity of people, ideas, approaches, and cultures.  She oversees the Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (CELT).
