Dr. Arigo’s research focuses on understanding psychological determinants of health and improving behavioral interventions to promote physical activity, weight control, and chronic illness self-care. Her work to develop novel mobile interventions to increase physical activity among women with elevated risk for cardiovascular disease and to optimize digital data sharing to enhance the efficacy of obesity treatment is funded by National Institutes of Health.
