About Cristina Prestin-Latham

I completed my BS (2011) and MS (2013) degrees at Eastern Illinois University. In the Fall of 2019, I will begin my doctoral studies at Illinois State University in Higher Education Administration. My current research interests include Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES) and the impact of incarceration on the family. In 2018, I received the Illinois Council on Family Relations Faculty Mentor Award. In 2019, I received Outstanding Adjunct of the Year at Heartland Community College. Long before any of this occurred, my journey began right here at Parkland College. I am a Cobra and am VERY proud to teach here.
