About Colleen T. Boff, Ed.D.

Colleen has worked at Bowling Green State University (BGSU) since 1999. She began her career as the First Year Experience Librarian. In this capacity, she integrated information literacy into the first year curriculum and contributed to a variety of initiatives designed to retain and support first year students. She also helped establish the Common Reading Experience and played a key role in leading this initiative for ten years. She was acting Instruction Coordinator a number of times and Chair of the Department of Library Teaching and Learning prior to serving as Interim Associate Dean of University Libraries. She was the Associate Dean of University Libraries at BGSU from 2012 through 2017. After eight years in Library administration, Colleen chose to return to the library faculty in order to pursue her love of teaching and research. She currently serves as the Head Librarian of the Curriculum Resource Center and works with a team of three to provide outreach and instruction primarily to the students and faculty in the College of Education and Human Development.
