About Clinton G. Gudmunson

Clinton Gudmunson, associate professor in the Department of Human Development and Family Studies, focuses on financial socialization, family economic pressure, and financial counseling and planning. He won the 2015 Reuben Hill award for the best research paper from the National Council on Family Relations (NCFR). His publications appear in journals such as Family Relations, Financial Counseling and Planning, Journal of Family and Economic Issues, Journal of Family Psychology, and Journal f Research on Adolescence. He teaches courses in research methods, retirement planning, and family policy and received his PhD in Family Social Science from the University of Minnesota
