About Clair Reynolds Kueny

Dr. Kueny earned a BS in Psychology and Political Science with a minor in Statistics at Truman State University in 2012. She then went on to graduate school at Saint Louis University where she earned a M.S. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology (2014) and a Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology with a concentration in Quantitative Methods in Behavioral Science in 2016. While finishing her Ph.D., she was an adjunct instructor for the Psychological Science Department and taught in the Missouri S&T MS I/O program from a distance. She joined as a full-time faculty member in the department in August 2016 and is very excited to actually be on-campus! Dr. Kueny married in Fall 2015 and went from Reynolds to Kueny which is why you might see both names floating around. She and her husband, Steve, live in the area with their boxer-pitt bull mix named Hurley. She currently teaches the following courses in the MS I/O program: Intro to I/O Psychology, Advanced Industrial Psychology, and Advanced Organizational Psychology. She also teaches organizational psychology at the undergraduate level.

Her research interests include Employee discretionary behaviors including initiative, citizenship behaviors, and counterproductive work behaviors, and the unintended consequences and ripple effects of these behaviors. Employee Behavior and Relations Lab ebrlab.mst@gmail.com
