About Christopher Brunt

Christopher Brunt completed his Ph.D. in economics at Wayne State University and holds an MS in economics from Wayne State University and a BS in mathematics and economics from Eastern Michigan University. He joined Georgia Southern University as an assistant professor of economics in 2012. Prior to joining Georgia Southern, he was an assistant professor of economics at Lake Superior State University. Brunt has research interests in health economics with a predominant focus on provider incentives and payment under Medicare Part B, skilled nursing facilities, and the industrial organization of health care. He has publications in Health EconomicsThe International Journal of Health Care Finance and Economics, and the Journal of Regulatory Economics. His research has been presented at the Southern Economic Association Annual Meetings, the International Industrial Organization Conference, the Midwest Economic Association Annual Meetings, and the Academy Health-Heath Economics Interest Group.
