Assistant Professor of Practice, Nutrition and Dietetics
Christin Seher is an Assistant Professor of Practice in the School of Nutrition and Dietetics at The University of Akron and a doctoral candidate in the program of Higher Education Administration at Kent State University. Disciplinary research interests include the dietetics curriculum, policy and professionalization practices; cultural competence and diversity education of healthcare professionals; community and public health nutrition and policy; and the scholarship of teaching and learning – including experiential learning and service-learning as critical pedagogy. Other research interests include equity and inclusion in higher education. She is a program reviewer for the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics and a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ Council on Future Practice Think Tank.
