Dr. Callie Cox Bauer is a board certified physician specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Cox Bauer utilizes her medical training to ensure that every patients she cares for understands their health, possible treatment options and provides evidence base care to allow for shared decision making. Her goal is to provide patients will the knowledge of all of their options for care in a compassionate and supportive environment.
Surgical treatment options that she provides include robotic, laparoscopic and vaginal hysterectomy, hysteroscopy, endometrial ablation, permanent sterilization, and pregnancy loss/termination services. She continues to actively be involved in improvement of the specialty by participating in clinical research, teaching residents/medical students and leading projects in quality improvement and patient safety measures.
Dr. Cox Bauer earned her medical degree from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine, then continued to complete her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Aurora Sinai Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. After completion of residency she served in the United States Air Force serving as an OBGYN Faculty member at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio from 2015 to 2019. After completion of her military service she joined the faculty group at Aurora Sinai Medical Center in association with the University of Wisconsin in July of 2019.
Away from the hospital she loves to hike, spend time with her family and read.
