Bo Yang is an Assistant Professor of Geographic Information System (GIS) in Department of Urban and Regional Planning. His research focuses on cutting-edge technologies in GIS and remote sensing, including machine learning and AI in GIS, UAV remote sensing, coastal ecosystem monitoring, wildfire mapping, urban heat, urban crime, and urban transportation. He holds a doctoral degree from the University of Cincinnati.
