Professor of Higher Education | Senior Executive Vice-President, STAR Scholars Network
Krishna Bista is a Senior Executive Vice-President of the STAR Scholars Network, and a Professor of Higher Education in the Department of Advanced Studies, Leadership and Policy at Morgan State University, Maryland (USA). His research focuses on Artificial Intelligence (AI) in higher education, college student experiences, faculty-student relationships, and global student mobility issues. Dr. Bista has published 15 books and more than 100 research articles and book chapters on higher education topics. Previously, Dr. Bista served as the director of Global Education at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, where he was the Chase Endowed Professor of Education in the School of Education. Dr. Bista is the Founding Editor of the Journal of International Students, a quarterly publication on international education. He is also the Founding Chair of the Study Abroad and International Students SIG at the Comparative and International Education Society (CIES).
