About Benjamin Forrest

After graduating from Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, Idaho, Dr. Forrest moved to Virginia to attend Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. In May of 2007, he graduated with an MAR in Theology/Apologetics followed by an M.R.E. in December of 2007. Upon graduation and sensing the Lord’s calling to further education, he started the Ed.D. at Liberty University. He graduated with the Ed.S. in 2010 and the Ed.D. in 2013. His dissertation research focused on the spiritually formative experiences of seminary spouses. His research interests include spiritual formation, family ministry, and historical examples of leadership.
Dr. Forrest married his wife, Lerisa, in 2009, and they have three wonderful children, Reagan, Hudson, and Graham. They enjoy spending time with each other at home and watching Boise State Football.
