Dr. B. Arruda is a diagnostic pathologist at the ISU Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory. Her interests include infectious diseases of swine. Her primary expertise is in pathology and pathogenesis of and diagnostic assay development for infectious diseases. Her current research focuses on a divergent lineage pestivirus, ear necrosis, and porcine epidemic diarrhea virus.
