Assistant Professor, Department of Psychology

Dr. April Masarik joined Boise State University in 2015 and is an Assistant Professor for the Department of Psychology. Her research interests include family and romantic relationships, family stress and resilience, and intergenerational continuities in socioeconomic conditions among others. Dr. Masarik received her Ph.D. in Human Development and a M.S. in Child Development from the University of California, Davis and a B.S. in Psychology from Boise State University. Her recent postdoctoral research experience involved the Family Transitions Project which focused on the identification of genetic, social, and psychological influences on human development. Dr. Masarik is currently on the editorial board for the Journal of Youth and Adolescence and is a member of the American Psychological Association, the National Council on Family Relations, and the Society for Research in Child Development to name a few.

About April Masarik

Dr. April Masarik joined Boise State University in 2015 and is an Assistant Professor for the Department of Psychology.
