About Anna Zacharcenko

Dr. Zacharcenko is a Pennsylvania licensed psychologist with 27 years of experience providing clinical services to adults and seniors. She serves as the attending psychologist and behavioral health consultant in PCOM's Family Medicine Healthcare Center. Dr. Zacharcenko adopts a collaborative role in helping patients initiate lifestyle changes to protect their emotional and physical health. Her specialty interests include:

As a mentor, she supervises and trains psychology students in the delivery of optimal behavioral health services within primary care.

In addition to her work at PCOM, has been a consultant to the Philadelphia Corporation for Aging and a contributing author to Health Forum Online, a web based continuing education organization. She also serves on the geropsychology committee as committee chair for the Pennsylvania Psychological Association.

Prior to returning to PCOM in 2015, Dr. Zacharcenko served as the consulting psychologist to the Temple Health Women's Care specialty practice. Her work included designing and implementing a multidisciplinary weight management group for females. She also served as a behavioral health consultant to long term care communities inclusive of skilled nursing and assisted living facilities.
