About Ann E. Brownson

Ann E. Brownson was a Reference Librarian/Education Bibliographer and Professor at Booth Library. She also served as Coordinator of Booth Library’s Ballenger Teachers Center, a curriculum materials center serving the needs of pre-service teachers. She holds Masters degrees in Library and Information Science (1993)and in Student Development in Postsecondary Education (1984) from the University of Iowa. Her research interests include curriculum materials centers and the use of children’s and young adult trade literature in the classroom. She regularly reviews audiobooks and other media for School Library Journal.
