Abstract
The goal of this research is to design a hypermedia journal (h-journal) that supports information work in the practice environment. To design an h-journal, two research questions are explored through a number of strategies. The two questions are:

  1. What are the applications of an h-journal in the practice environments?
  2. What is a usable document and links structure of an h-journal?
