About Andy C. Chong

Dr. Chong is currently an assistant professor in the physics department and the electro-optics graduate program. He received his doctoral degree from Cornell University in 2008. His research interests are in nonlinear optics and ultrafast pulse propagation especially in fiber lasers and amplifiers. He is also conducting research in complex optical wave packets and their applications. Dr. Chong has authored 60+ publications in refereed journals and conferences.
