Anannya Chakraborty started working in the international development sector after completing her Post Graduate degree in Social Development from the University of Sussex, United Kingdom. In the last eight years, she has worked on various challenging social sector projects in the areas of research, knowledge management, and communications.
Anannya joined the Australian Council for Educational Research (India) in 2017 as a Corporate Communications Officer. Currently, as Manager of Communications she manages communications for ACER India and also works on global communications assignments. She has worked in commissioned research projects for clients such as the Asian Development Bank and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT, Australia). Before joining ACER, she has also worked on ethnographic qualitative research and social and behaviour change communication projects for international development. Anannya has presented at international conferences and forums organised by the European Educational Research Association and UNESCO Bangkok.
