About Amit Jain

Dr. Amit Jain joined the faculty of the Department of Computer Science at Boise State University in 1994. After earning a B. Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in New Delhi, he went on to earn a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the School of Computer Science at the University of Central Florida. Dr. Jain's research interests include parallel systems and languages, Beowulf clusters, parallel system hardware/software design, parallel application development, and parallel algorithms and data structures. In addition to his teaching and research, he is a member of the Software Alliance board of the Idaho Technology Council.
