About Amber Warrington

Dr. Amber S. Warrington joined Boise State University’s Department of Writing Studies in 2016, and is currently an associate professor. She received her Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction focusing on Language and Literacy Studies at the University of Texas at Austin. Her research interests include strengths-based writing assessment in secondary English classrooms and literature in literacy teacher education. Dr. Warrington currently serves as the editor of Teachers, Profs, Parents: Writers Who Care since 2013 and served as a reviewer for several publications such as Literacy Research: Theory, Method, and Practice.  She is also a member of such professional organizations as the American Educational Research Association, the National Council of Teachers of English, and the Literacy Research Association to name a few.
