About Amanda Taylor

Amanda Taylor is a Research Officer in ACER’s Education and Development research program.  She holds a Master of International Development Practice, and previous studies in international politics, Asian Studies and Human Rights Theory. Amanda  has gained practical research and development sector experience through various roles including Team Leader and Financial Literacy Program Developer for Monash Seed in Cambodia, and as an intern for the UN World Food Program in Italy. She is currently working on ACER’s Early Childhood Care and Development Longitudinal study for UNICEF Philippines and the large-scale Australian Awards Global Tracer Facility that ACER is developing in collaboration with several partners, for the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). Before joining ACER in 2016 Amanda supported her tertiary studies as a sales consultant for educational provider Eskimo Sales Solutions Melbourne, as Head of Mission, World Winter University Games, and as a professional athlete at the International Snowboard Training Centre, Silverthorne, USA.
