About Abraham Fried

Dr. Abraham Fried is an Associate Professor in the Department of Accounting and Taxation, where he teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in financial and managerial accounting. His research interests include management’s accounting choice and lobbying behavior, security market valuation, and accounting for postretirement plans. His publications have appeared in Advances in Accounting, Research in Accounting Regulation, The CPA Journal, and The Journal of Accountancy. Dr. Fried has presented his research at regional and national meetings of the American Accounting Association as well as other academic conferences.
