Abida Begum is Senior Instructor at the Professional Development Center North (PDCN) which is a component of the Aga Khan University, leading the teacher education and research initiatives in the remote region of Gilgit Baltistan Pakistan. She has teaching expertise and experiences in Early Childhood Education and Development, Educational Leadership and Management and English and Urdu languages. She remained part of many educational research projects and has been continuously contributing to scholarly literature by generating indigenized knowledge and disseminating it to wider communities through newspapers, national and international journals. Her main research areas are Peace Education, Leadership and Management, and on Students Dropouts and Behavior Managements Issues at school level
