Dr. Abdulmohsin Imqam, Assistant Professor of Petroleum Engineering at Missouri University of Science and Technology, received an M.S. in Engineering Management and a Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering from Missouri S&T in 2015.
 
Area of expertise
·         Deepwater well integrity technologies. This includes technologies that provide improved understanding of cement/geopolymer cement properties under extreme temperature and pressure conditions and in the presence of contaminants in wellbore fluids during drilling and completion operations. It also includes new cement formulations utilizing additives such as polymers, resins, or nanoparticles to improve cement properties and long-term reliability.
·         Hydraulic fracture stimulation. This include investigate proppant transport through fractures using slick water and other alternative fracture fluids 
·         Enhanced oil recovery from Unconventional and conventional resources. This includes injecting natural gas and chemical flooding to improve oil recovery
