About A. Lee Hannah

Lee Hannah earned his B.A. (History) and M.A. (Education - Curriculum and Instruction) from Virginia Tech and his M.A. and Ph.D. (Political Science) from Penn State. His research and teaching interests primarily focus on state politics and the diffusion and construction of public policy. He is currently working on a book titled "Green Rush: The Rise of Legal Marijuana in the American States" with Daniel Mallinson (Penn State Harrisburg). The book is under contract with New York University Press. He has published articles in Science, Public Administration Review, Political Research Quarterly, Policy Studies Journal, Party Politics, Climatic Change, Publius, and others. His research has also been covered by The New York Times, The Washington Post, NBC, Newsweek, Time, NPR, The Guardian, and others.
