He has a Ed.D. from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, an M.S.W. from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, Texas, and is a licensed social worker in the state of Idaho. Much of Dr. Rodenhiser's work has been in the area of assessment: both academic, as a member of the Baccalaureate Educational Assessment Project (BEAP), and in the community, though various agency and community assessment activities. He is also interested in the application of new technologies in both the study and practice of social work.
