Rev. Msgr. Richard M. Liddy, Ph.D.
Richard Liddy is the University Professor of Catholic Thought and Culture at Seton Hall University. He is also the Director of the Center for Catholic Studies at Seton Hall, a center that includes three institutes: the Bernard J. Lonergan Institute, the G.K. Chesterton Institute for Faith and Culture and the Micah Institute for Business and Economics. He is also a member of the Religious Studies department at Seton Hall. He was a student of Bernard Lonergan in Rome and he has published two books on Lonergan: Transforming Light: Intellectual Conversion in the Early Lonergan (1993) and Startling Strangeness: Reading Lonergan’s Insight (2006). He is the editor of The Lonergan Review published at Seton Hall University, including Vol 1, Generalized Empirical Method: Perspectives from Bernard Lonergan (Spring 2009) and Vol. 2, Forging a New Economic Paradigm: Perspectives from Bernard Lonergan, (Spring 2010).
