About Michael C Duff

I write about workers' compensation, labor, employment, and tort legal and policy issues as someone who has been a blue collar worker (for 15 years), a Teamsters shop steward (for 7 years), an injured worker, a workers' compensation attorney (for 2 years), a labor lawyer (private sector and NLRB for 11 years), and a law professor (since July 2006). In my academic work, I draw on this rich diversity of theoretical and practical experiences to construct a research agenda corresponding intimately with workplace reality.
