About Kathleen Neville

Dr. Kathleen Neville, EdD received her doctorate in higher education administration from the University of Massachusetts Boston (2011) and her master’s degree in Student Development in Higher Education from the University of Maine (1991). She has extensive experience working in student affairs and academic affairs. For the first twenty years of her professional career she worked in residence life at various colleges across the Northeast. Currently she serves as the Associate Dean for the School of Graduate Studies. She is also an adjunct for two master’s degree program at Salem State; Higher Education in Student Affairs and School Counseling. Kathy’s research agenda focuses on race in higher education, student – faculty interactions, the experiences of faculty of color in the academy, and student development.
