James is a Masters of Science in Library Science and Information Systems (MSLIS) graduate.
James has experience in both the fields of archives as well as in libraries. He has experience with microfilm cataloging and preservation.
He also has experience in public librarianship,
including circulation, book weeding, and taking care of patron needs.
He has done trouble-shooting for library IT issues, including virus and malware problems.
He is presently engaged in library and archival internship projects.
He is active in genealogy via his affiliation with his local genealogy society. He is currently the contributing author of a genealogy column in the newsletter "Chronicles."
