Since 1995, I've been a news researcher at NBC, The New York Times, and People magazine, filling information requests for reporters and other staff and training them to help themselves. I joined the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism faculty as a research adjunct in the fall of 2008. I also do freelance sports writing and won United States Basketball Writers Association awards for 2005 and 2008. Previously, I was an award-winning news and sports director at radio stations in Louisiana and Massachusetts, and a freelance production assistant at NBC Sports in New York. I have a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism from Hofstra University and an M.L.S. from the University at Albany.
