About Barbara Potts

Barbara Potts has taught as an adjunct professor for the College of Applied Studies and Academic Success. Barbara was the head of the Scholarly Communications Department and a Research Librarian at Liberty University. Since 2001, Barbara has worked in academic libraries in various capacities such as Circulation Manager, Reserves, and Acquisition Librarian. Barbara assisted faculty and students with this online repository including electronic theses and dissertations, online journals, faculty online profiles, and graduate programs. Barbara also assisted with copyright and fair use on campus. Barbara was the liaison to the Academic Affairs for Athletics and Family and Consumer Sciences. Ms. Potts earned a BA in Business Management from Malone University and a Master of Library and Information Science from Kent State University of Ohio. Barbara also gained a certificate from Harvard Law School's CopyrightX in June 2020. Barbara volunteers as President of the local Friends of the Library organization.
